SRS Light On (B1805/52 Code) Even after having recalls done

Hey guys,

07 sedan with 199k miles here. I recently had the SRS airbag light pop on, and stay on. I also happened to the get the *URGENT* recall notice for the passenger airbag recall, so I brought my car into the dealership for the first time in my 4 years and 100k miles of owning it.

They did a few recalls for me - the driver's side window switch, the driver's seat rail, and the spiral cable replacement.

However, my SRS light is still on. I had them scan it and print me out a code, which was B1805. I followed up and used CTScott's method of jumping the two electrodes in the OBDII port, and only got a code 52 there.

So I believe I have a B1805/52 code. What the heck do I do now? I'm afraid to monkey with the connections under the passenger seat because I don't want to the airbag to deploy on me. I might bite the bullet and just pay the dealership to fix this one... ugh

Thanks guys/girls!!

Just wondering if they plugged the airbag back in right or did it come disconnected , that will cause a code .

Looking up your code. Here is what I found.

• Center airbag sensor assembly detects line short

circuit signal in front passenger side squib circuit 5

times during primary check.

• Front passenger side squib malfunction

• Center airbag sensor assembly malfunction

And trouble area are:

• Instrument panel wire

• Instrument panel wire assembly

• Front passenger airbag assembly (Front passenger

side squib)

• Center airbag sensor assembly

Hope this helps you find what's wrong.
