Water leak drivers footwell Yaris 07

Toyota Yaris 07 two door , water in drivers footwell after rain. It is not engine coolant. Windscreen has been re sealed. Toyota are struggling to find the cause. Any ideas please?

If it's wet after rain and the car has been sitting, then you have leak somewhere.

If you are driving and it gets wet, it might be a lost drain plug.

yes, its wet after rain. The water is clean, all floor bungs are in place and sealed.

Then sit in the car, ask someone to hose down your car and look around inside where water might be coming in.

My guess would be by the wiper cowl

Thanks for your replies. Going to have to think outside of the box for this one. Its been in a Toyota main dealer workshop twice now. They have carried out the usual water pouring tests and found nothing. next step is to remove the entire dash board, which I am hoping to avoid as that will cost a lot. Hoping somone has experienced the same problem nd found the answer.

You've confirmed the HVAC box drain tube (USA passenger side) is not clogged?
