Is there a way of applying a clamping force on the sensors to fool them into thinking there is an occupant? This way a simple mounting system for the passenger seat can be utilized.

The sensor is more advanced than just present/absent. It also takes into consideration the weight of the passenger during deployment.

You just have to unpluged the seat belt connection (and re-pluged it when your modification is finished).
I didn't take any pictures of the driver side brackets 'cause is too easy to make the modification.

So don't be scared to change your driver side seat, it's very very very much more easier and simple to do it than the passenger side. It tooks me around 3 hours to do it and around 8 hours for the passenger seat.

Good luck to both of you guys and if you need some tricks....ask me by "PM".

Thanks dude....

I'm getting a local shop that is making me the brackets and will be handling all parts of the install...i'll be referencing this thread if they have issues...but they've been doing this for awhile...so nothing new, except the install is done on a yaris...which they haven't worked on before.

I had to delete all the pics because my "web-space" is very small.

I received alot of emails and private messages to see those pics again.

here's the link where i put them and this time they will stay there for a long time (as long as possible).

enjoy !!!
