short shift

i am the proud owner of a 2011 yaris hatchback. i want to install a shift kit. can't decide on which one to get..the twm one that actually replaces the shift lever or the nst that installs in the engine bay.

i like the look of the shorter shift knob, but i dont wanna pay that much. and the nst one installs in what, 5 minutes?

the nst website is also sold out of the kit i want..anyone know another place to buy it?

MicroImage should have the NST product.
TRD also offer a similar product.
OR you may find the much less expensive knock-off from Piggies on eBay. I've got ~70,000 kilometers driving on my Piggies with zero issues thus far.

After a long while in use I could stand an ever shorter throw and may add the NST adapter for under the shift lever to reduce travel another 25%.

Yeah, I've had my Piggies for about a year now and it's still going strong. Just as "ilikerice" said, the first time you shift after having it installed will slightly blow your mind and excite you.

seems like a totally different car...especially if you pick up the entire kit...

- in cabin
- under hood
- cable bushings

We will be offering a new short shift kit, made by us, that includes the extra bracket like the TRD one. Stay tuned...

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.
