I would have them installed already if I had the correct wiring harness. It's two bolts and a gentle tug to remove the tail light.

I hope I don't have to make a harness. The bulb holders are standard. I wonder where I could find the three pin connector for the LEDs (center hole in gasket).

Did you pull back the gasket slightly to see if there was a plug on the light, and a wire harness connected to it that may be hidden?

And one more clarification... These did NOT come with connectors? I thought we all paid for connectors too..

It's also possible that the red tail lights come with the wiring like in RoninMax's photo.

If it's the same as the Canadian RS, I may have to ask a favor from one of you.

Sorry to say that, you purchased just the Lens only. The picture I post in the forum is the Tail Light Assy. means Len, light bulb, harness, everything to make it work. Now, you need to purshase the light bulb & harness to make it work. Let me check the part # and see how much it is cost. I hope everyone in this group buy buy the whole LED Assy. instead of Lens only.

I noticed that on japanparts.com lists mine as "CLEAR COMB.LAMP (REAR)" and the red ones as "JDM TAIL LAMP ASSY. L/R" .

"Assembly" might be the key word here.

Violens tails look different to me for some reason. Aren't the JDM tails all red?? Or maybe I've been seeing them wrong this whole time.

I finally got a reply from japanparts.com about there taillight assy. this was their response...

Thank you for your inquiry.
Actually our business style is when we receive order form from the customer,
we would order the parts to manufactured company.
In other words, we do not have any parts in our office.
So we can not confirm whether JDM tail lamp assy is included.
Sorry about it.

Just posting for anyone that may be curious.

Imagine my surprise to get home, check yarisworld.com and see that 3 pages have been added to this thread. Right now I'm in the process of getting everything straightened out as I was under the impression that we would be receiving complete assemblies.
