Interior center console switch cutouts?
Oay Im sorry for the crude Title, but there are same size cutout located next to where you switch the interior light dimmer (this is also one of them), or by your emergency brake. These appear to be a standard size idustry standard item, and I was wondering I would loked to utilize some of the blank ones with a lighted switch lite when on, for activating a low power item.
Is there a source that I can buy switched or other type items that are pop in replacement size wise to these? I could take the blank out and put a switch into it, but I think I would like to keep the blanks if I sell the car down the road, can anyone tell me what these are called or a source for replacements that have a custom application in mind? Thanks, Ron |

in short, he wants a switch that fits right into the blanks by the handbrake.
and no, they do not seem industry standard. They are more like TOYOTA specific. |

Yeah I've put things in those spots before. You can fit most standard switches in them with a little work. Good luck and post up what you do.

^ thats what I did for the toggle for my aftermarket fogs, just take the blank out, cut out the size hole you need, and plug it back in.
