November 2011 Yaris sales: +160.2%

November was big month for the Yaris as the 2012s begin moving. Toyota sold a whopping 160.2% more Yaris models compared to November 2011. Toyota sold 5,640 Yaris models in November. Total Yaris sales are at 28,190 YTD, down 23.1% compared to last year.

Great showing for the Yaris, especially since the 2012's weren't around for a full month of sales (at least in most of the country - I still haven't seen one).

It shot right past the Fiesta and many others. I look forward to seeing Decembers numbers which will be a bit more accurate as inventory rolls in.
Looks like the Yaris will be a sales success even with the criticisms from both the press and consumers alike. And remember sales numbers will reflect just the hatch body style rather than two body styles added together.

I don't know if they will sell so many 2012 right now, there are many good dealers on 2011 models (not the yaris specifically, but corolla, scion and such). And they are limited by the stocks.

The funny thing is that most Toyota commercials I see does not show at least one Yaris.

I'm seeing Yaris only tv commercials now with EPIC RELIABILITY being the emphasis. I'd have to agree.
