Painting the wheels - has anyone done it? - Toyota Yaris Forums

I've already searched the site so don't scold! I can't seem to find anyone that's painted the wheels on the car... not the hubcap, lots of folks have done that. I was just thinking that a red wheel, instead of black- behind the hubcap would look good. Any thoughts? Ideas? Pics?

ive painted my wheels....easy brezzy..these wheels i have now have been flat black to bronze to white to bronze again to flat black with the red pin stripe....

my wheels are custom painted....everyone likes them cuz its unique.

do u want to paint the steel behind the hubcaps?? or paint aftermarket wheels, if your going to paint aftermarket ones...i suggest powerder coat them

Not painted, but I've put a chrome trim/lip on the stock steelies and rocked whitewalls... looks good lowered IMO

I am not sure if my wife will allow me to put my signature paint job on her Yaris. I paint the rim silver, the hub black, and the hub & nuts silver. Simple, effective, looks better IMHO than most covers.

Ideally, I wish I could get a set of baldies to cover the center, that looks better yet...
