The racing seat isn't too bad. We are quite possibly cutting it and adding in an extra 1.5" because it is pretty snug already without the fire suit. I bought it used from my buddy (seat) for a fraction of the cost and he is only a 28" waist where right now I am a 38".

Hood pins installed. Pretty tight fit for sure, but managed.

Half a gallon of C16 per run, its crazy to think any Yaris would ever consume that much. The hood pins look good, do you have weather stripping between your hood and bumper? Also where did you bolt the hood pins to (factory hood bump stomps?)?

I have weather molding but haven't installed it yet. As for the mounting location I can snap a picture of that too here later on today. Have to pick up the Highlander from Jason. He did repairs on it from a deer hit this spring.

Please do take a picture of the mounting location, the Highlander survived a deer impact? You and yours are very fortunate, deer total loss everything they run into usually.

Had a deer try to jump over the hood of the truck. It laid onto the windscreen and then rolled along the driver's side to the fuel door. $2800 in damages. The last part to get fixed was the two doors which was done yesterday. Can't really tell but there were five heavy dents. Insurance wouldn't replace the door skins even though it would have been cheaper.

Here are the mounting points for the pins.

Also ditched the OEM upper grille in favor of a much less restrictive one from Thailand.

That front grille looks aggressive, what are you going to do with the empty fog light holes?

I have LED angel eye fog lights, but haven't decided on if I will be installing them. Having the holes open means less resistance.

Do things like fog lights or even the grille actually increase your top speed mph? I'm curious would removing your front bumper really add to your top speed run, or even slow you down a good bit.

Bumper removal will slow you down a lot. Having the fog holes open allows that air to pass through and roll over the tire rather than slam into the light housing and effectively cause it to build up a wall and then have to cascade around the bumper.

As for the grille I am mainly concerned about airflow to the radiator and intercooler.

How does the grille affect the flow to the radiator and intercooler?

It is an open design. If you look at the OEM grille it has a lot more restrictive flow due to the plastic accents in it.

At your top speed range, do little improvements like grille or fog lights give a noticeable gain? What's the biggest mph you had for a simple modification?

Removing the S trunk spoiler gained me close to 4mph. The grille change is mainly for helping to keep temps in check. Not really sure how much difference the lack of the fog lights has made since I have never had them on this body kit.
