About Engine Oil Changing Manual

My Yaris is the first car in my life. It is reaching 5,000 miles right now. I have never changed engine oil for my car before. Does any one have a manual for changing the engine oil/filter for Yaris? Or can someone introduce it briefly?

Thanks a lot!!

google up how to change oil and everything will be there.

Everything is right under the car on the passenger side, absolute piece of cake to change.

The hardest part is getting under the car and having enough room. DON'T overtighten your oil drain plug when you reinstall it.
Quick and simple version-
1. Make sure the engine is fully warmed. With engine off, remove oil drain plug and drain all the oil.
2. Reinstall plug and torque to specs in manual.
3. Unscrew oil filter and remove while being careful not to dump hot oil down your arm.
4. Take new filter and fill it with oil nearly to the top.
5. Install new filter. (Filter box will say how tight)
6. Fill with oil. (check it on the dip stick)
7. Start engine and run for two mins. Turn engine off for two mins.
8. Check oil and top off if nessasary. (Don't overfill the oil past the max line)

(drain the oil into a catch pan and dispose of properly)

the yaris is by the far the easiest oil change i have ever done with regards to where the oil filter and drain plug are at. when i changed the oil a couple of months ago (first oil change since it came from the factory) the oil filter was an ABSOLUTE bitch to get off. they always overtighten the freakin' things at the factory. totally unnecessary. get it on their hand tight and then add about 3/4 of a turn. that will be more than enough. then when you are ready to do the next oil change it will be much easier to get off.
