fuel gauge disappeared, YARIS 2006, 1.3

Hi fellows,
a few days ago I took my Toyota Yaris ( 2006, 1.3 ) for a maintenance service.

After a day or two i noticed that the fuel gague has dissapeared as shown below:

does anyone know of an issue that may cause such thing?

I was already headed back to the mechanic and the one who performed the maintenance service didn't know what may cause such thing.

The red circle indicates where the fuel gauge is usually located.

Much appreciation,
Tom

Hi

I have exactly the same problem, Tom. Did you know what was the cause and repaired it? Thank you so much in advance.

Find out where your post count went, and I'll bet you find your fuel gauge there as well.

To help someone else with same problem: Speedo's LCD was damaged. Really weird failure...

All LCD has normal burn. that's not the problem, because I bought another and also has the same burn spot.
