I have a leak

I have read about some leaks but the pictures were not so clear on where the leak was. I am posting these pics up so you guys can help me identify what the leak actually is. If you need more pics let me know I will take more and post!

There is no oil above the crooked line all oil is below

I had this done under warranty last June

Any help will be awesome I think that would be the timing cover but could be wrong. Thanks in advance.

The leaks discussed in the other threads were at the head gasket. Yours does look to be at the timing cover again.

As stated above it's likely to be the timing chain cover . We did some research on the internet and discovered this is an issue for some Toyota models over the years . Therefore our conclusion is that the oil leak we had for the '08 sedan and 2010 3 door ( traded in for '11 Fit ) was the timing chain cover and not the head gasket . We did point this out to the service manager that was discovered online , copied and presented to only to be told you can't believe everything off the internet . Here's the '08 sedan with the leaky timing chain cover ( http://www.carsurvey.org/reviews-by-.../2008/#r125809 ) and a few others that followed with oil leaks ( http://www.carsurvey.org/reviews/toy...5809/comments/ ) . So , the Toyota technician decided it was the head gasket and went with their diagnosis for our '08 sedan . No leaks as of yet since the head gasket replacement in September of 2010 and 45,000+ miles ago . Read somewhere online that the white sealant from the factory isn't as good as the black silicon sealant ( F.I.P.G.) . The Toyota black silicon sealant was used by the Toyota service center for the repair and no oil is leaking from the timing chain cover or other areas .

Thx a bunch guys I will be notifying the dealership who did the work. Hopefully they will repair it since they either did the work shotty or Toyota needs to do a recall.
