Be careful driving like that in boost. Detonation is a killer.

I could have sworn there was a thread that did some investigation with the 06-08 ecu will throw that code when running the FIC. That person used a 09-11 ecu and it fixed the problem. I can't remeber where I read that

That thread is on MicroImage the op has not been on to let us know if it worked.
He has an 07hb and having issues with the cps code so he bought an 08+ ECU to see if that would fix it. There are a lot of cases of this issue with earlier scion models.

@kou - I was only seeing that code, p0135 i believe, while the fic was connected.

The only code ive seen since it has been bypassed is p0172 (system too RICH). And that only came up when i was boosting up to hwy speeds from 2nd-4th gears.

That is lean if you're in boost.

So I tried adjusting the injector size. First changed the numbers, new: 245 old: 190. That threw the fuel map off A LOT. To where the car stalled immediately.

I calculated a 25% reduction from the new:1000 and old: 1000 default. I entered 750 for new, and 695 for old. That ran ok until i revd it up and let it fall. It stalled.

So i reverted back to the original tune you gave me Kou. I went into the ignition map and changed where the car idles from 0 to -3. I revd it up again and it didnt fall. I won't know for sure how it runs seeing how im on duty until friday.

I'll be sure to let you guys know how my drive home goes.

Good look set your maf clamp to 4.95. I have revised my tune a few times now to get it where it needs to be. I am waiting on a friend so I can do a real street tune, its hard to drive and tune at the same time so I have to pull over change something get back on the road. I am cleaning up the top of my fuel map so its smoother.

I am not sure maybe you should ask ctscott. I am still waiting to see if that is a fix as someone is trying it an another forum but the have not been on the site in a while. Some have tried a variable resister on the crank wires to adjust until the crank code stops coming up,that fix would be cheaper but will take two people one to adjust and one to drive.

Did anyone ever build a MAF map like in the instructional videos?

I'm having an issue where it seem to go pig rich while transitioning into open loop. But if I run all zero maps it's fine.

I have set up maf map for a maf clamp. Didn't need to use it until I turned up the boost past 12psi and that was only to keep a cel away. If you have no cel piping up I wouldn't use it.
