drum brakes make squeaky noise
This is my kid's 07 yaris with about 70,000 miles. This is a new noise, not very loud but clearly audible (with radio off). Not when you apply brakes, but when you release them. Clearly in the rear. Recently I checked the front disk brakes and the pads had about 50% wear (unknown mileage). The brakes work fine otherwise.
I never enjoyed working on drum brakes (I did it only twice that I remember, never on this car), are they out of adjustment or something more serious? Thanks! |
