The coat hanger kicks ass. Wonder how long it will take for someone to try to hook up a harness to it

question about your gauge cluster, can you switch between miles and kilometers?

Nice car and color too

I have the Linea Sol too, only a 5 door and diesel.

Your mileage is pretty good as far as i can see.

The coat hanger is sweet, something you expect within a Toyota Avensis lol.
But because it's a 3 door isn't it unhandy to get your coat there?!?

Nope, don't think so. I could on my 2000 Corolla, but not on the Yaris. Although the cluster has a place for miles/mph (see this pic).

Thanks! The color wasn't my first choice, but now I love it.

The mileage is what I get in city traffic and it drops to ca 5 l/100km on the highway. Your diesel must be giving you cash at the petrol station?

The coat hanger is handy, anytime I need to get my coat, I just flip the seat forward as I leave the car- so no problems there.

First off, shame on Toyota for not offering that cool gauge setup on US vehicles.

Second of all, I need that coat hanger too. Damn.

Yeap, the display on the right below the clock displays fuel consumption ATM/average, average speed, range (based on fuel meter and average consumption) and outside temp ATM.

I can't imagine why you guys got analogue dials... IMO the speed is a lot more difficult to make out on an analogue speedo. The LCD is much more clearer.

So I've sold the Yaris. Actually, parted it for this Renault Megane Coupe.

Thanks for all the comments and discussions, these forums are a real goldmine for any Yaris owner. I wish the community all the best!
