1st gear shaking and very stiff clutch

Hi,
I've a 2008 Yaris 1.3 VVTI (Made in France), 120000km, with the problem of shaking (judders) in first gear and a very stiff clutch.
I've read many things about this problem but I still wonder what to do...
- Replace Clutch ? Which one to choose?
- Replace concentric slave cylinder ?
- Replace flywheel ? Or only pressure plate ?
- Add modified gear selector parts ?
- Replace hydraulic clutch fluid and bleed master cylinder and slave cylinder ?
- Replace gear box oil with Synthetic GL4 75w ?

Did anyone already get rid off this problem ? And what can I do to resolve it ?

Greetings from France.

I've also observed that the car isn't jerking / shaking on first gear with A/C on.

What does it mean ?

Means you don't know how to drive the car. I'm very honest.

I had a friend tell me that, his 06 Yaris (no AC) always studers when taking off, so I drove it and it didn't happen.

As for the grinding feeling, it happens to me too, when the engine is still cold. The issue is the idle is different when cold vs fully warmed up, and you still clutch the same. So the clutch slips, and tries to grip and get this grinding sensation. It is actually an issue, I get that with a bad pressure plate on my previous "Yaris" (04-05 echo). My 07 does it a little, maybe that's why the clutch is pretty worn at 180k km.

Ok. Let me know your driving method, then I will try it and see if it doesn't shake anymore

There is no miracle, you have to learn. The Drive By wire throttle doesn't help at all.
The Yaris also have a pretty stiff clutch pedal compared to say, a 2015 corolla, or a 2010+ Honda Fit.

Right ! I've learned to drive it. For people like me, the solution is:

CONSTANTLY press right pedal to obtain about 1500rpm-2000rpm while let out left pedal very SLOWLY

That's all

Personally, I feel releasing the clutch from 2000 rpm in first gear is slipping it a bit too much. I also get a shuttering and vibrating dash when taking off in first but I take off around 800-1100rpm. I've learned to ignore the noise and vibration. 306,000km on the original clutch and it still grabs great. I'm not the greatest standard driver by any means but ive never killed a clutch. Must be doing something right.

Hopefully not for too long lol. Mine sits at 1100 or so when cold, 600 when warm.

shutter clutch

mine does that also but notice that when I push back in on the clutch pedal it stops and then release again on the clutch it won't do it again. Is that mean the clutch or pressure plate is going bad???? anybody?
