Will this setup fit?
Ok found the wheels and tires I like but not sure if the setup will rub or not.
Heres the wheels: 15x8 +36 http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda...t/61-0210.html And the tires: 225/45zr15 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes I would rather not stretch tires on wheels doesn't look right to me.

well the 225 at a +36 offset is going to be the hardest part to fit in the front.
what suspension do you have again? |

6ULs are a great wheel. The rear will fit.
You can roll the front fenders and put a 215 on the front and youll end up with a very mild stretch, almost unnoticeable. that should fit i think the rear would be fine |

I would do a 215 on that. might need some negative camber, too.
45 series is a little thin?

I am running about -2.8 camber on each side already!! The only tire tirerack shows in a 215 that would be close to that dia. is a BFG g-Force sport. I'm not a fan of BFG but I haven't looked anywhere else yet. If I'm not mistaken Tamago is running a 225/45 I know he has room for them figured I might try
Yea I found it. They don't seem that thin. http://aggressivefitment.com/blogvie...1158fbacd.aspx

those are 225 50 15 in the picture.
let's do the math :) 15X9 +36 (theoretical numbers follow) Inboard: 150.3MM (actual 6.375" backspace) Outboard: 78.3MM (actual 3.375" forwardspace) (it's more, because a 9" wide wheel is actually wider than 9, per Brian at goodwinracing, closer to 9.75 total, so add 10mm to my inboard and outboard measurements above if you HAVE to have an exact measurement) edit from 949racing.com 15x9 +36 12.7 lbs, 1.75" lip 6.375" backspace this confirms the wheel is about 9.75" total width my setup, 15X8 +20 (front) +10 (rear) is as follows front: inboard 121.6MM outboard 81.6MM Rear: inboard 111.6MM outboard 91.6MM (again, add about 10mm to each of those numbers for an exact) if we both run a 225 tire, our overall tire width will be very close, however on a 225-45-15 you're going to "stretch" the tire more than me because of the slightly shorter sidewall. i think outboard you should be OK, with some aggressive fender rolling and camber shims. i will not comment on inboard as i don't know the hub-to-strut measurement up front and hub-to-trailing arm measurement in back. my guess is the rear will require spacers to clear the trailing arm. you can verify this by laying a straight edge across the brake drum (wheel off) and then using a tape measure to find the absolute shortest distance from the hub to the trailing arm (the xA and xB had a clearance hole welded in it that had a piece of tubing sticking out, the guys on 20's had to grind it down to avoid rubbing) good luck, and i hope you do it! remember, one-size-fits-all means it fits with no modifications required... One size fits YOUR car means you put in the work to make look great, and it will SHOW! edit: buy one of these :) http://www.jegs.com/i/Percy%26%23039...01201/10002/-1

Thank you for the info but they are not 9" wheels they are 8". Oh and sorry I guess I should add that I already have the PG 13mm rear hub spacers installed. Also should I get spacers up front to help with the inboard? So with spacers installed the rear would be +23mm and thinking 10mm spacer up front for a +26mm

15x8 +36 12.3 lbs, 1.125" lip
5.875 backspacing 2.875 forwardspacing if a 15X7 + 42 doesn't rub inboard then a 15X8 +36 will not either. plenty of inboard clearance front and rear (more inboard clearance than a 15X7 +42) this does not take into account your choice of tire size. i honestly recommend running a 205 55 15, it's the proper height, and will minimize the amount of work you have to do to your fenders. if not, your fender liners will have to come out up front, and you'll want to do some tapping in back with a rubber mallet (the stock fender wells in the rear have funny shapes) as well as getting those rears rolled out a bit. ok, on to outboard.. Kngrsll runs a +15 in rear, and rubs quite a lot with a 7" wide wheel and 195's his theoretical outboard is 73.9MM (remember, its more like 83.9) your theoretical outboard with 13MM pg spacers installed: 78.6MM (more like 88.6) so you have 5MM more outboard then kngrsll.. WHEEL ONLY. obviously the wheel itself is not what's rubbing here though. solutions for rear fitment: camber shims in rear run that 205 55 15 tire instead of the 225 45 15.. overall height of the 225 45 is less, but under compression it won't matter HOW short the tire is, it's gonna rub roll the rear fenders. worst case, take off the PG spacers (don't do it, i'll kill you!!!!!!!!!) lol i think it can be done pretty easily! and brian @ goodwinracing.com can definitely help you with a decent 205 55 tire. i've run 20something different 15" tires thru the years so if you have any questions about specific brands and styles lt me know.

With that wide of a wheel won't a 205 look stretched? I have worked in a few tire shops and I like the look of a tire that is flush to the wheel. I still think I'm going to try the 225 unless you don't think it is worth the extra work. These are also not for looks and driving around they will be for auto-xing and track days too.

but they're gonna rub :) you'll need a lot of rear camber and some work with a hammer to make them work. but DAMN it will look great.
