So what I'm looking at if I get the 225's is pulling and rolling the fenders, rear camber and maybe getting rid of my awsome rear spacers. Not sure if you saw it but would front spacers help me any?

you'll be better off getting a wide 205 then a skinny 225.

remember not all tire sizes are the same.

the # on the side of the tire is the section width, tread width is what gives the "stretched" look (more so than section width).

meaning, a 205 with a wide tread width will look alot wider and have significantly less "stretch" then a 205 with a narrower tread width.

honestly i'd slap some 205s on there first for fitment testing (find some used take offs (miatas like 205/50s)).

this will give you a good idea if the 225s will work.

when going this wide you'll need to experiment, bit of risk involved.

look for extreme performance or R-COmps for the widest treadwidth. :)

Ok cool. So will adding rear camber and hammering in the "lip" on the inside of the rear fender be enough or should I get a body shop to pull and roll the rears?

probably more than you should spend on used tires then. UPS is very pricy on big boxes to residential addresses. the shipping will probably be as much as the tires (around $300 shipped total, for 4 Toyo R888 or RA1 205 50 15)

Scroll through the link posted to see various size tires on both the 15x8 and 15x9 6UL's. I personally think the 205/50 would look best on the 8". But thats me.

it's a stretch that makes the tire useless in the rain, and makes it wear unevenly. pointless except for show.

i will rephrase that for you. a "wide" 205 will be fine. a typical street 205 is gonna look silly, and remember 205/50 is shorter than stock

USPS is forgiving on tires, you can just put the label right on them.

I really don't like stretched at all. If I can get some R-compounds for a cheaper shipping rate through USPS and a little help from Tamago I will mount them up and if there is a stretch on them that I don't like then I'll put them on my steelies or sell them at an auto-x in my area and order the 225's. I'm not going for the HellaFlush look on my car I don't do car shows
