I seem to recall this situation with the FIC when our tuner tuned Scions a lot. if I remember correctly, it was one of two things..... The firmware used is not correct, or the FIC unit itself is faulty. I HIGHlY doubt the crank sensor took a crap.

^No. What he is suggesting is that it might need a firmware update to a different version, maybe even a previous version. I would certainly try that before deciding the unit itself is toast.

okay guys getting my car tomorrow morning.. but not happy

speaking to the guy my o2 oxygen sensors the heating element inside both the o2 sensors keep short circuiting which means when my car is cold it will run crap cause it wont be getting information! They brought me two new ones and after they dyno'd it both sensors heating element have short circuited again! thats my first fuking problem

secondly my car will get up 5000rpm and will hit a dead wall! according to the guy he says it a conflict between aem fic and the ecu, could the problem be that the car timing is off at high rpm possibly? Which isnt properly done in the ignition section of the aem?

why is it that my yaris has major issues while other yaris members arent seeming to have as bad of issues as i am! i have a feeling that the boomslang i have maybe isnt the same wiring as the yaris in america!

he said that the afr on WOT is 12:1 which i still need to install my AFR gauage in

anyone give me any input i have no idea wat the fuk is going on!? i dont understand the point of having a boosted yaris if u can even have the full rev range

Check the aem forums they have it on there. Don't kno why you are having some many issues. It must be in the tuning somewhere I think. Most of us are running open loop with no o2 sensor.

Maybe you should ask your tuner that.

Did they give you the old parts to inspect?

RULE #1: Always get back any parts replaced on your car.

Alright got my car back runs well Only problem is a constant cranksensor mulfaction and both exhaust sensor heat circuit

The 2 oxygen sensors both the heat element inside have broken which where brand new so the car has to warm up the o2 sensor

The car still hits a brick wall at 5000rpm but reading aem forums they have see this before I am going to try tonight and fix that problem that's to you guys and aem i think it's the firmware which I hope should fix it more to update!

Btw garm I asked for parts and he apparently couldn't find them which is bullshit! He probably has them in the garage!

I think hitting the brick wall a 5000rpm is probably the MAF voltage not being clamped. Feels like an early rev limiter yes? Did somebody wire in the FIC, or did you get the plug and play harness?

1. No. The tuner is the issue.
