Finally, my motor went.

I must say, I pushed it for a long time... so this was bound to happen. I was simply driving home a few nights ago and did a full boost (30psi) pull, right at redline in 2nd gear I got valve float. I have had the rev limiter set at 7500 for about 5 months, but it was pure luck I made it that long on a stock head. I was barely able to make it home, the car barely ran.

Im hoping the bottom end is ok, and just some minor damage done to piston tops.

Garm, I noticed you carry upgraded valve springs, Ill be contacting you soon about those and a intake manifold. Also cam options, if there are any.

I was able to squeeze 60k miles out of this motor without any snags until now!

The BC Valves come highly regarded. There is also the JUN Cam pair designed specifically for turbo applications.

You did great, made us all proud with your build. We can grind cams for half what JUN charges, I would never pay their prices.

Regrind cams sounds fine to me. Ill do those, springs, and possible port and polish. I am interested in the golden eagle manifold, what tb flange options are there?

Do you have a link to your build thread? I don't want to ask a bunch of questions that you have already posted answers to.

Did you do a teardown already? Interested to see what the motor internals look like.

I don't see an actual full thread build. But if you look up his name and all the threads Blown xA started, you will find alot of the answers you seek.

Whatever you want, it comes 1ZZ/1NZ, but we've made 1NZ cable (xA/xB) and larger (70mm) flanges as well. All available.

Ill probably do so next month, have a bore scope at the shop too. Right now, my focus is elsewhere (downhill/streetluge racing).
