I have Hankook H727s but I think my next set will be the new General AltiMax RT43. Tirerack tested the Generals with three other different brands and they liked the Altimax the best.

ok i got Falken tires all season in 195 55 15 also i did run them for the last two weeks to see how they do in snow and cold temp...very impressive for a do it all tire...but would and will still run my winter force for winter.

Price is awesome for a tire of this performance..go to link.

Oh.. For me. It is the 2nd time I'm running Yokohama s.drive 195/55r15.
I've had my first set when I bought the car. And the last 3 years I've driven on some hankook h725 or something.

Anyone ever tried running a set of 205/50/R15 Yokohama R1R's? Was thinking about picking up a set for my 15x7 RPF1's. How was the handling and ride comfort? Is it a noisy tire?

Those are the ones. I guess these will work fine for me even though the treadwear isn't that great due to the softer tire compound.

Check out this review:

Doesn't sound too good. Plus, the tread pattern would probably result in absolutely terrible straight line tracking at highway speeds.

The kuhmo x4 were great tires even at speeds over 130mph. I did go back to my falken 912s, but that was mainly to reduce wheelspin.

Does speed rating matter? Like the General RT43 has a speed rating of T and H, which is better? The Hankook Optimo 727 has T rating. I'm aiming towards the RT43 H, however discount tires doesn't have them yet at least.
