Liftback Fog Lights on eBay

Thought Id pass this on... looks a little like what ProCarParts installed on Todd's car last week.

Buy It Now is $109 with $19 shipping... I may just have to try a set.

Search "Yaris Fog Lights."

Looks nice. The only thing I am worried about is that here in VA we have safety inspections and if the fog lights dond go out when the hi-beams are on it won't pass.

Well my inspection here, isn't until 2010, so if anything, ill put the stock "filler" pieces back in for inspection day.

Will those fit the sedan too? Anyway, do the no-fog lights Yarises come pre-wired for fog lights? I would assume they do because the dealership charges only $110 for them. $110 is too low for them to run all the wiring to install a set.

So when you guys say that Toyota charges $110 for the fog lights for the hatch im assuming you mean both lights plus installation? I called the dealer here and they want $214 a light plus $24 for each new filler/light mount plus about $90 for install (not that Id pay them to snap them in). Are we getting ripped or what?

That's what I meant, if the car comes pre-wired, maybe we can just snap them in.

It won't be hard for hooking up a set of fog light.. May be someone will write up a DIY later.. However my car isn't in yet, otherwise I can write up a DIY.

The ABOVE will NOT fit sedan. There is a seperate auction from the same place just for SEDANS.

$110 from Toyota is when you ORDER a car to be built. After the fact, its a $500-600.00 cost thru your Toyota dealer.

Are cars are NOT pre-wired for fog lights.

Go to eBay, read the auction, and sum up some other questions you may have on this kit. Seems exactly like Todds, where it was a simple wire job, and the fog switch itself, resembles the stock Toyota switches.
