Clunk noise on a bump when on speed

Hi All,

I am experincing a confusion here

On a road with 8 - 9 bumps on single bump i hear a clunk noise from rear of the car. I am unable to figure it out where it is. Car is running fine and no funny noises on other roads. I like to mention this particular road is on steep hill with loads of bump I am sure not many to standard construction.

But noise is from rear side

Can the experts help here where to look what

Yaris 2005 99k

cheers

make sure your shocks aren't wet looking indicating they're leaking. Then look for loose parts.

Check to make sure the mounting bolt on bottom of rear shock is tight. I once had a loose one that on visual inspection appeared tight but was loose enough to creating clunking noises over bumps.
