Full Moon wheel covers

I'm thinking of these on my Steelies for winter time. Those Yaris covers are just too ordinary. Opinions?

There is also a member here from Minnesota who sports the mini-moons.

...been meaning to grab up a few if I found them cheap enough.

If I could find some cheep that I could paint a gun metal, black, or something I would love them. I do not think that adding shine is good when they only come stock with shinny badges.

If I could find some rims that were light and well made that did not stand out I would get some rims.

I thought about those. Two things I don't like about them: They block the brake vent holes in the wheels (not that I get my brakes hot in normal use), and they appear to cover the valve stem so you must remove the wheel cover to check the air pressure.

What I really wanted was a set of baby moons, but they're a no-go on Toyota's steelies. No lugs to hold them on.

I'm delighted with the spinner wheel covers I got, but as the 2009 Yaris' TPMS valve stems are in a nonstandard location (slightly closer to the hub and angled inward) I had to snip out the inner edge of the valve stem holes to get them to go on and generally have to pop them off to check the tires anyway.

True, but I doubt brake cooling is a major concern on the Yaris, especially if you're not racing.

As was said, Google "baby moons." BUT, those hubcaps snap in place using some little bulges on the center circle of the wheel that are not present on Yaris steel wheels. Won't work.
