Any firefighters/ems using Yaris to respond?

I am a firefighter/emt that just purchased a 2010 LB last month. I use it to do call backs when off duty. Has anyone set theirs up for responding? I would appreciate any info/advice that anyone has. Thanks, Bill C

Add a suprcharger, gets you there faster!

No supercharger or turbo needed! Just have to clear traffic (and the occasional 20 mph driver). I've been doing this for 20+ years and don't need the "speed". I have searched 3 forums and haven't found anything related to the Yaris. I have a dual LED dash light but it blocks the wife's view from the pass. seat. I have picked up a headlight flasher and will probably put a couple of LEDs in the grille. Bill

Lol no problem. I've only used my Yaris for Pizza Delivery in the past, and currently use it for my mobile IT business.

You could add some really loud horns, that sounds like the klaxon used by the police? if that's legal where you are.

I'm a career FF/Paramedic and drive my Yaris to work and to respond to call backs. No lights or mods though. Most of us here respond back with no lights. I do have a block heater I plug in though when it's below zero and that helps with warm ups and getting the windshield cleared faster.

Hey, i always dreamed about strobing my yaris!
but since i only run call when on-duty (ambulance), i don't need to...
but here's my suggestions :

- stobe bulbs in each corner light (2 in headlights - might fit in city lights holes, 2 in tailights)

- 2 red flashers/blikers behind front top grid.
- 2 red flashers/blinkers on top of the "luggage cover" in the hatch facing back.

it could be could too to use red led stripes under side mirrors for side view and behind center windshield mirror.

anyway, if you do it, please post pict!!!!

LOL
You can go to www.galls.com and get hand cuffs, lights, uniforms, and about what ever else you need to act like you want to be a cop.
