wipers
Hi people. I'm new to this but have recently bought a run around car for work. It's a 1999 yaris s. I have a problem as the driver wiper works fine but the passenger wiper does not. Any ideas what it could be?

there is a rod that link the motor to the 2 wiper arms. One of them is probably broken.

What exactly does this mean? Be more clear in your description of the problem please.
Could be that the nut holding the wiper to the drive spindle is loose.

The passenger side arm doesn't work.

Pop off the plastic cap holding the wiper arm on. Turn on wipers and see if spindle is rotating. If it isn't then you'll have to remove the wiper cowl to investigate all the linkages.
