Has anyone replaced their clutch
My yaris is getting up there in miles and I'm going to need to replace the clutch pretty soon. I'm a fairly decent back yard mechanic and am thinking about doing the job myself. Has anyone done it? I've downloaded the service manual, and it looks like a pretty extensive job.

Well, I'm pretty sure I can get all of it apart at home, its just getting the subframe/suspension aligned properly that worries me...

I am interested in replacing the clutch on my 2001 Echo myself too. Has anyone done the clutch on the Echo? Mine is still good but with 152,000 miles already I expect I may have to do it by 200,000 miles mark... Is there any statistics on how long the clutch lasts on average if mostly highway driving?

In an Echo - yes, but not in a Yaris, although I don't expect it would be all that much different.
