Something big is here...

Here is just a teaser pic. I get to pick her up from the shop this Friday after four and a half months. All I know is the stripes are gone, but back in another form, the roof is black, I have the hella supertones installed now, fiberglass encloure, some powdercoating has been done, and it's going to have quite the custom paint job. Also going to fix 6 years worth of dings and scratches.

My cousin is doing a "pimp my ride" style job on my car. Built him a custom PC, paid him $300 and the insurance work to fix the damage from hitting a jack rabbit back in November when I was coming back from Vegas on my honeymoon. This was his thank you, and only 1 of two pictures I've gotten so far. I can see that my Tanabe strut bar is black, and my engine cover has been removed for painting.

Can't wait to get my car back after such a long stint without it. Been driving a '95 Nissan Pathfinder and sucks gas, and handles horribly. I can't wait for the unveiling Friday, will be posting some pics this weekend.

Well it wasn't done this weekend but we did make progress, discussed colors and other goodies. Also brought up my side skirts which will be blended to match the body better. Excited but have another week at least....

I know the wait is killing me!

Anyone know where I could find the OEM grill inserts for this bumper? It's the RS vitz one from Thailand. I'd really like to have a factory grill instead of the usual fill mesh.

Is it an actual vitz bumper of replica? My vitz RS bumper doesn't have any kind of lip appearance at the bottom like yours

It's the Thailand RS front end hench the lip that is not found on the regular vitz bumper. It does have tabs for the grill and fogs. I did have an issue with the rear bumper which is also a replica when I fit the reflectors. Took some messing with washers and extensions to make them work. Apparently thecar may be getting delivered Sunday but I've beentold it's almost ready before...

Any link to the grills? Ctscott pointed me to a site but it only had the upper for $179.

And yeah its a replica. Got it from microimage.
