Thanks, but I can't afford a Wii. It's OK, however; I have a calculator that can spell words when you hold it upside down and type certain numbers: 55378008

Lets you find other people online when your Wii is connected, so you can play against them or whatnot...

Will have both. I'm a bit of a console nerd.

I just setup the Wii for my son. He likes it and I like it too!

The Wii is an excellent alternative to the PS2/3 and Xbox but they are always out of stock like the Honda Fit.

we have a Wii -- I'll have to see about the friend code thing, maybe we can have a Yaris car racing rally or something, lol

ok fanboy. haha just kidding. seriously though, I have the ps3 and I just use it to watch blu-ray dvds. I don't have a xbox360 but my boyfriend has the elite version so it doesn't really matter to me. Plus, I spend more time playing on the wii and the pc to really play with the other consoles.

THREADJACK!

What's supposed to be so special about Blue Ray? As opposed to HD DVD?

more space on blu-ray and uh, there are a lot more studios backing blu-ray as opposed to HD DVD. Quality is about the same I think but the whole studio and which movies are released onto which format.. is probably going to make Blu-ray be ahead of HD DVD for now.

But didn't I see some studios dropping the Blu-ray platform? (or was that my half-sleep half-dream in front of the TV late at nite?)

hmm I don't know i any studios dropped the blu-ray format. I don't remember any actually. To give you an idea, only one studio (universal, I believe it is) is only backing the HD DVD format while everyone else is doing blu-ray and some other studios support both blu-ray and HD DVD. plus, blu-ray players are selling a lot more than HD DVD players. I saw a day by day comparison and maybe only 4 or 5 days out of the year did HD DVD beat blu-ray sales
