List of Boosted Yarisworld Members - Redux

Since the creator of the original thread (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10030) has not logged into YW in two years, that list is significantly out of date, so here is a new cut at it. Even if you were in the other thread, post again in here, so we can see who's still boosted, who still even has his/her Yaris, etc.

If your Yaris has some form of forced induction, drop a post in here with the following:

1. Year and Type of Yaris (sedan or liftback)
2. Type and brand of FI system (Blitz Supercharger, Zage Turbo, etc.)
3. Horsepower and Torque (if you have dynoed it)
4. How long it has been boosted (years and/or mileage)
5. Any problems that you've had due to being boosted.
6. Post an under-hood photo to show what-you-got

And, on to the list:

1. cali_yaris - 07 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE) , Turbo, Custom GT28
2. CrankyOldMan - 09 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE). Blitz Supercharger
3. Astroman - 07 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE) , Blitz Supercharger
4. fnkngrv - 07 Yaris Sdn (1NZ-FE) , Turbo, Custom T28
5. Focus_Sh1ft - 08 Yaris Sdn (1NZ-FE) , Turbo, Zage kit
6. JohninVT - 08 YAris LB (1NZ-FE), Turbo, Zage kit
7. Kou - 08 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE), Turbo, Framkenstein Zage kit
8. maxthehax - 05 Echo LB (1NZ-FE), Turbo, Garrett custom
9. Paris_vvt-i - 04 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE), Turbo, Custom Garret 2554r
10. thefalls - 09 Corolla Axio GT (1NZ-FE) - TRD Turbo
11. Vten - 08 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE) , Blitz Supercharger
12. TOLMACH - 08 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE) , Blitz Supercharger (Tooterized)
13. wildmongoose26 - 09 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE) , Blitz Supercharger
14. yariSB86 - 07 Yaris LB (1NZ-FE), Turbo, Zage kit
15. Yoda - 08 Yaris Sdn (1NZ-FE) , Turbo, Custom T25
16. 47_MasoN_47 (1NZ-FE) - 09 Yaris Sdn, Blitz Supercharger

Tiamat:

1) 07 Sedan S
2) Custom T28 Turbo, AEM FIC, Tial Ext WG, Boomslang Harness
3) Anywhere from 160hp/165tq to 180hp/175tq depending on tune to the wheels
4) 18 months, 2 engines, 25k on engine 1, 10k on engine 2
5) Internal wastegate stuck open on engine 1 (blew motor at 25+ psi), no issues on engine 2, AEM FIC bad crankshaft sensor output on circuit board
6)

Proof is in the pudding (see signature...no stock Yaris will hit over 140mph)

Haha, way to take the bull by the horns, Scott.

1. 2008 Sedan, Auto
2. Zage (the first to rock it )
3. No Dynos
4. 16,000 miles; 2 years, 8 months
5. Turbo actuator snapped, improper oil drainage, downpipe weld broke, clamp sheared my AC line (we'll call that "user error")
6. I'll get a photo next week. Seriously not even two weeks after I got through that bov debacle my hard drive died and I lost a ton of personal/work files. Life is so ridiculous at times

Now if a mod could just... you know... Sticky this.

1. Year and Type of Yaris: 2009 HB
2. Type and brand of FI system: BLITZ retrofit
3. Horsepower and Torque: The car feels much stronger (butt dyno)
4. How long it has been boosted: 1 week
5. Any problems that you've had due to being boosted: My kit is from scion, hence had to buy a throttle body adaptor from Tooter, all the rest was easy. Took me 4 hours to get all pulleys aligned properly (was actually the most difficult part of the project)
6. Post an under-hood photo to show what-you-got

^ I know it may sound insane, but I am seriously considering removing mine and returning back to stock.. The car drives like a charm under boost, and somewhat worse than before without boost,, still drives ok but I can feel the difference. Considering I drive a lot every day and do not want to use SC all the time, hence the dilemma.. Plus 99per cent of my dirving is aroung my town with no much room for racing (( Still have not decided yet.

You might be feeling the parasitic loss of the s/c. It is belt driven so it is always taking a little power to spin the s/c pulley, this is what gives you instant power as soon as you hit that preset clutch engagement point. I say keep it lol
