I have no idea why he would say that, as it is genuine OEM stalk. The only thing that might have made him question it is the horn wire, which I add, to save people the hassle of breaking the pin to pull their's out of the original connector.

Hello CTScott

I write from another part of the world “italy”

I are desperate

I know that we are talking only of yaris

but you are the experts on Cruise Control that I found

I own a hybrid Auris HSD 1,8L

I put all the parts needed as the model with the standard Cruise Control

when I press the button on/off, the lights Cruise Control lights up green

but just release the brake I get a yellow triangle and the following “check Cruise Control “

do you have any advice for me???

thanks so much in advance

Was reading thru a few treads, seems your saying that all yaris have the hard wiring from the factory, correct? I have a 07 hatchback auto trans. If all i need is this kit your selling i'd like to purchase one, if you still have some available. Pay pal ok? Thanks Bruce

My understanding is no, but a person from Germany recently ordered one from me, as he was told that it would work. I will let you know when I hear back from him.

It looks like the car already has the clutch switch installed, i cannot have it started when the clutch is not pressed... So i guess that one is installed...

The cruise control clutch switch is different. The starting one requires the clutch to be pressed completely to trigger, where the cruise control one triggers as soon as the clutch switch is touched.
