It works!!!!!! Awesome!!!!! I always hated not being able to adjust the dash brightness... I swear, adjusting it is about as clear as a super contra cheat code, but I'm glad it's there!!! Thanks Bella!

Hi Debby, sorry to break it to you, but "Oil color does NOT matter. Some people feel if a oil is not black it is not doing its job.

Others feel that clear like new oil is a better oil.

Bottom line is color does not matter.

Take care, Bill "(this is a quote from an oil site, i know i am an oil nerd lol...)

I was just saying I thought mine was synthetic because it was clear oil when brand new. I don't like black oil at all.

A Yaris is more fun to drive when it's all paid for... as mine is.

hey my first post here, so hi all!

Thanks heaps for the tips, i'm going to spend some quality time with my yaris right now...

my tip, and i'm sure you all know this one: put your warm bottle of water or drink in the holder next to the steering wheel and put the air con on cool and angle the vents at the bottle and voila! ice cold drinks again!!

The headrest for the back seats go up and down. It took me about an hour to figure that, thinking this seat is really uncomfortable.

The engine trouble light also keeps track of when you need to change the oil. You reset it using the ignition key and the trip button.

Does anyone know how many cup holders are in the Yaris Liftback. The two up front allow the airconditioner to keep the drinks very cold . Then there is one on each front door...and there may be some in the back.

The cup holders are GRAND AND SURPASS OTHER AUTOS COSTING MUCH MORE...

2 in the rear doors (on my 09 5 dr that is-not sure about the 3dr)

Vitz 2005 Auto 1.3L Jap import doesn't have any indicator. With headlights ON, if you keep the button pressed when the odo showing total kms light just dims and then brightens, only two modes.

The 3-door has two cupholders (one on each side) where the doors are on a 5-door, so the total (7) is the same.

Cheers! M2
