HELP! I think my yaris is dying *VID inside*

Hey guys I'm new here.

I have a 2007 Yaris sedan and I thing It might be dying. Idle is very erratic and it drops to 300 or something like that.
I've tried everything:
  • Changed Sparkplugs
  • Cleaned the throttle body MAF and IAC valve
  • New ignition coils
  • Checked Alternator
  • Couldn't find Vacuum leaks
  • Motor mounts are still OK

But the idle is still rough after a while, and it makes it undriveable under heavy traffic.
The engine shakes violently and that's why I think it might be dying.

See, here is a video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2S8mYL4p-k

Sorry for the quality but my cell phone is crap.

Any ideas of what could be the cause?
I don't know what else to do. Please help me.

Nope The engine even shuts off and It doesn't throw a Check Engine light.

I even scanned the car to see if there was an error, but nothing...

I' ll upload a better video next time

I wonder if it's something belt driven that's failing and sapping all the power?

Some more brainstorming ideas:

- Did you check the air filter?
- Does it seem like you have enough exhaust gases coming out the tail pipe? So someone didn't shove something, like a potato, in there?
- Ever have issues with water in your gas? It wouldn't hurt to get a fuel additive to clean the fuel injectors that ALSO takes care of possible water in the gas. I'd do this as it is a benefit across the board.
- Maybe try cleaning the MAFS again? Double check the o-ring around the MAFS is flexible, and there are no leaks around it?
- Check the grounds on the motor? Make sure you don't have a bad ground somewhere?
- Clean the terminals on the battery with a wire brush.
- Does the engine run rough even when you keep the clutch pedal pushed in? It's a long-shot..

That's all I got right now. With no codes, it could be so many different things. Check the things above, and hopefully something fixes it.

Does it run normally and seem to have normal power when you are driving and it only does it at idle? Or does it seem to be underpowered all the time?

make sure vacuum hoses are hooked up. this is what happened to mine after i was messing around under the hood, and forgot to hook up the pcv valve hose back up.

Hello, thanks for your reply.

It's normal most of the time. It doesn't seem underpowered. While idling, the revs keep between 1000 and 500, suddenly they drop to 400 ~ 300 and that's the problem, even if I press the gas pedal it's hard to get them up.
