Talking ►►►DC Sports Headers - 1NZ Yaris 2008 HB

Well... Here is one of the classic modifications. The sound changes a bit. The real difference is felt above the 4K revs.

I had no problems with the installation, it fits perfectly..

Enjoy the new header. It's a great product that improves the torque curve quite a bit. I was impressed when I installed mine.

Now just fork out the cash for a Golden Eagle intake manifold and pair it with a short or cold air intake and you'll love your Yaris even more

Believe me that I am enjoying it. Now I have a CAI with AEM filter. I have also installed a Magnaflow exhaust too.
I had seen the GE IM, and definitely this will be my next performance upgrade.

O2 sensor. There is a bung on the DC header for it. It may not have been installed in the above image but you can see the bung for it in the comparison image of the oem header and the DC one

its a 02 sensor...i had to put a hole in mine since mine was old vitz(jdm version) aftermarket header...
you should carefully remove from your old header and place them on to your new header

Yikes you removed the cowl to install it?

When I installed my WeaponR header I did not need to

Thanks for the photos, very useful as I'm looking at doing the same but with 4-2-1 header :)

Yes, it's more comfortable to work.

did you have any issues with heat on surrounding parts given the headers don't have a heat shield? I'm wondering if I need to wrap the headers or try and modify the heat shield to fit.

do not wrap the headers, they are ceramic coated and are not meant to be wrapped.

I never had any issues with no heat shield when I ran the DC header and in most cars I've owned I cut the heat shield off when it rusts out and rattles. I removed the heat shield on my 2zr before I did the swap since it was close to rusting in a year or two.

Most heat shields are to stop things like leaves which get trapped in the engine bay from landing on the header and starting a fire. You'll be fine without it, no worries
