Stupid Thing I did while working on my Yaris Today

I saw a thread sorta similar to this, which was about something you did to your Bronco today on the FSB forum, so that it would be fun to have the thread here.

Recently I removed the cowl to change out the spring in my wastegate and the short version is that upon reassembly I forgot to plug the hose back in the for the washer fluid yet again. I have done this now prolly a dozen times and have ended up being forced to get out of the car in the middle of the dark on more than one occasion at night to try and figure out why my fluid wasn't working.

I tend to forget to plug in the harness for the wiper motor. luckily, I have remembered before going anywhere.

I get it all together and see the dangling wire and thing "What's this for?".

Wiper blade functionality had deteriorated during the winter. I decided to change blades when it was quite cold out. I wasn't paying attention, pulled the wiper arm up, removed the blade, then hit the arm and it smacked down onto the bottom of the windshield cracking it. Expensive mistake :(

Ugh. My worst nightmare. I cringed at the thought of it.

Once, in the dead of winter, I was brushing all the snow off my Jeep. It's a soft top so the windows are vinyl. Being vinyl they are flexible so I decided to tap the window with the brush expecting all the snow would just fall off. I gave it a whack and instead of the snow falling off, the brush went straight through the window taking a nice sized chunk of the frozen-stiff vinyl with it.
