OEM Toyota sport pedals (pics)

Just finished installing these. Apparently Toyota offered these for the yaris but were later discontinued (not sure why). Found them brand new on flea bay for $26 + shipping. Took 10 minutes and a pint of elbow grease. Worth it.

Some are still floating around on eBay and at a great price. If I remember correctly Toyota Canada wanted $80 for these. I got them for $26 + shipping.

Do they just cover the stock pedals? Like they're held on with brackets?

You remove the rubber from the clutch and brake pedal but not the throttle because it is one solid piece. And you just slide the new pedals over top. They've got rubber tabs that wrap around the pedal. Exactly how the original rubber pads are designed.

Looks good. I have been searching for the auto version myself, so far without any luck.

Has anyone with a 3rd gen car installed these pedals? I was wondering if the accelerator cover would fit the redesigned gas pedal.

These look like pretty close knockoffs for the automatic:

Any idea if the 2009 has the same pedal dimensions as the 2010+?

Close but not close enough for me. And they require drilling, I'd rather not go down that road.

I think this was the 2nd mod I did to my auto yaris back in mid 2006. STILL rocking them and with a good cleaning they still look new even after 139k miles.

Its good to know they last! Definitely a mod worth every penny.

They should fit on the 09's. If I'm not mistaken 09, 10 and 11 are all identical. It was 06, 07 and 08 that had differences from the 09-11's. But when I bought the kit it listed it as a kit for an 06' and it fit like a glove on my 11. So I'm 100% sure they're all universal throughout the years.

So those look like you just slip them over the stock pedals... Or do you remove the stock brake pedal cover on the auto too?

Yeah you remove the existing rubber pad and slip on the new one. Very simple.

I have the same Genuine Toyota set, bought in 2009 in Canada. They are a great upgrade and look fantastic. I paid the $80.... so if you got them for $26, that is a great deal!
