almost drunk posting....

hello everyone!

on my walk home from my local pub, i was thinking about a topic often dicused on this forum. auto or manual?

i have driven stick befor but have owned automatics my whole life. should i get the manual and suffer through the ocational traffic jam? or, should i just go w/ the auto and enjoy shift free driving?

for those of you w/ the auto, have you had troubble passing on or entering a highway?

thanks in advance!

Well for pussies like me i like the automatic even though I can drive a stick, but if its performance you seek get the stick. I just hate sticks in the winter. Oh and when entering traffic with an auto........ FLOOR IT>>>>

What he said. If I want HP, I take my 550hp SS or 600hp GTO to work.

If you need pickup, drop it to 2nd or 3rd and manually shift it. getting on the highway I have just been putting it in 3rd and it does just fine.

I don't know how to drive automatic, so all my cars are manual

I get really confused when I have to move someones automatic car for them... hahaha It just doesn't feel normal. The manual will save you more gas, better efficiency, better acceleration, cheaper to maintain and you don't have to pay extra when you buy the car.
