I am not gonna lie, I like the designs in itself. However, its the location, the process in getting them, and the aftermath in which she handle that were totally messed up and stupid!

In all, she shot herself in the foot, THRICE! Messed up a pretty face, got caught publicly lying, and provided the tattoo artist some FREE advertisement in the process. Nice!

Holy Hanna! I just read the original article that started all this mess. The artist was only charging 50euros!. Let me get this straight, 50euros is roughly $70USD (according to google). I freaking paid $85 for three initials on my arm and she gets 56 stars for $70!! I got ripped off!

Well, she must have liked the idea. Now she has to live with it. You think the artist had reservations? I've seen worse, too.......whatever.

What was interesting was how some people were trying to turn this into a national conflict in Belgium, claiming that the Flemish (Dutch-speaking) tattoo artist did not understand her because she was Walloon (French-speaking) and she spoke in French and English.

I was stationed in Belgium for three years while in the USAF, and found that the majority of the Flemish do speak and understand English, while not so much on in the southern Walloon states. There has been a lot of discord between the two halves of Belgium lately, and this incident surely was being exploited to cause a greater divide.

I am sure she thought it would be a simple lie to her father, and now it made the world press. And, with those tattoos, it is not like she is going to be able to go around unrecognized...

Cheers! M2
