Looking for Side Skirts - 07 Liftback

Where can I get the Toyota side skirts here in the States? I have been told, the US dealerships do not carry them. Canada only?

It comes standard on RS Liftbacks correct?

The USA does not get the RS liftback, that is why we don't have them.

Exchange is around 90% so $585 plus at least the 6% GST and any PST=$620 x .9 = approx $558 U.S. May be less without installation.

There are installation intructions here: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...=3177#post3177

$558 is just plain insane!! The HAMANN side skirts I got from Germany for my BMW were not even that expensive!

If its like every other toyota part and its shipped from Japan thats where the bulk of the cost comes in. I just imported a complete lip kit and spoiler for my yaris from Thailand and the shipping, taxes, duties etc was almost 700CAD.

Don't forget the Toyota Skirts come painted factory colour, are polyurethyane, and the price in Canada includes installation...

Cheers

I imported a whole lip kit and spoiler, havent had a chance to install them yet. There are photos of the kit in one of the bodykit threads, if you cant find them I can post the link. I am trying to distribute these kits, some have liked them, some not so much, its all personal preference.

Yes, there are quite a few, but most I have seen are a bit too ricey for me.

I just like the look of a stock RS with them, blends nice.

Most kits look re'tahded IMHO

I prefer the stock look over all those dang vents/foils or whatever.

I was thinking about just hooking up the S side skirt and leaving the front/rear end alone, it'd prob look stupid though hahaha

I think all the car needs is some nice 16's and to be lowered an inch or so...

Again, its all a matter of taste... I also think some kits look horrible and take 'ricer' to the extreme.
My 'personal' obviously biased opinion is this kit is tastefull, it doesnt have a giant aluminum wing or gaping hole in the front filled with steel mesh... I digress.

arofans - I got my kit direct from the manufacturer with no cost but shipping. I am in the process of setting up licenses and warehouse space in my area for distribution. The company has promised a rate reduction dependant on purchase volume. Sales should start in a couple of months provided everything works out. I can have individual kits shipped surface freight (to save on the ridiculous air freight charges) but only if the cost is fronted. Documentation will be supplied upon reciept if anyone is interested - obviously not the best option but some may want parts sooner than later.
A group-buy with money up front will save everyone a fair bit of money.

This is something that would have to be discussed via email with both parties (customers and the company) using verified, secure payment methods.
