Anyone Else Hate The Yaris Steering Wheel?

I was driving the car yesterday around the streets and the highway and I hate that the steering wheel doesn't go down more. Its like up in the air at its all the way down setting. This is the 2007 Hatch BTW...

I'm not short I'm 17 5'11" and I'm sitting up straight. I mean its driveable yeah but I like it down just a little bit more then what it allows you. Just my preference.

wheel is fine for me and I am pretty picky. Try some different positions.

I keep my steering wheel on the high position, when you drop it down it just feels weird. I like it.

I'm 6'2" and a tad over 200lbs, and I have no problems with the steering wheel in my 08 LB. I am constantly amazed when I hear people complain about it, I find it to work quite well. I am not that enamored with telescopic steering wheels, I've never really felt the need to have one...

maybe if you were 7 to 8 inches shorter you'd understand. it's not something i lose sleep over but allowing the steering wheel to adjust to all differing heights would be nice.

Everytime you think of that remember that you payed, what.. 12k for your yaris? It can't have everything.

I'm 5'6" and if the steering wheel could go about an inch lower, it'd be perfect. It's not important, but I understand the OP's perspective.

A telescoping wheel would be nice, too, but as Zing said, an econobox can't have everything...

The only issue I have with it is that it's a bit of a far reach at the noon position. Lengthening the steering column a couple inches would fix that. Other that it's perfectly fine, and feels really good during white-knuckle driving

Same as you, it would be perfect if the steering wheel can go a bit close to me. But 12k for a yaris, can't expect too much...

So I'm going to get a new steering wheel
