Catless CEL problem

Hello, I recently did a straight pipe boom tube on my yaris and tried putting in an 90 degree o2 bung but it still shows p0420 code, anyone know of any tricks or hacks to bypass the p0420 code? thanks!

I have read about O2 simulators and they are available online but I'm not sure how well they work. I believe that Toyotas are pretty sensitive in terms of thresholds.

I have a 100cell race cat and I have an angled tube feeding the O2 but with only about a 5/16" hole actually feeding it
