Sedan better gas mileage than LB? 5 month gas chart included
After doing a cursory look at the gas mileage thread, it seems to me that the Sedan gets better gas mileage than the Lift back. All the Lift Back numbers look a lot like the numbers you get with a Scion xA – high 30s. I think all these cars share the same motor. I think the Sedan is simply more aerodynamic.
Anyway, here are 5 months of Gas Mileage numbers – yours may vary. Methodology: a simple reading of the gas pump compared to odometer at fill up -- mostly highway miles Gallons, Miles, MPG 7.458, 341.6, 45.8 8.682, 381.2 43.9 8.468, 356.8, 42.1 7.625, 323.8, 42.5 7.265, 325.7, 44.8 <== 15” Konig Heliums and lowering springs 9.306, 413.0, 44.4 8.559, 376.1, 43.9 9.088, 401.4, 44.2 9.7, 422.3, 43.5 8.807, 379.6 43.1 8.892, 382.1, 42.97 8.419, 374.8, 44.5 9.862, 424.5, 43 8.291, 362.7, 43.7 9.808, 424.6, 43.3 9.513, 413.4, 43.5 8.495, 368.7, 43.4 9.836, 431.5, 43.9 8.764, 378.0, 43.1 |
