Changing engine and transmission oil
Is it a good or bad idea to use ramps when you change the engine and manual transmission oil? Or is a level surface better?

I use ramps. I think they are very safe and make changing oil very convenient.

I usually just drive the passengers side up on the sidewalk which then gives me enough room to access the required bolts for oil changes.
