stock seats are VERY light. Under 40 lbs total with sliders. I did some Recaro PP buckets and with the bracket, slider and side mounts they come out to almost the same weight as the stock seat, right around 10lb savings per side.

HOW did you get your car down to 1960, or better yet WHERE did you weigh it? Last time I had my car on the scales (corner balance) it came out to 2216 with no back seats and 3/4 tank of gas. I had ~ 90 lbs in the trunk (full size spare weighs 40lbs and ~50lbs in tools.

Thanks for the numbers on the seats. I'm going with the FX1 pros, but still working out the mounting. The seats are 16 lbs and the brackets are 20. I've got to find a way to mount them that doesn't weight more than the seats themselves. I weighed it at the public scales.

what wheels have you got? our stock 15" should weight around 6 kg, without tyres. So if your new ones weigh around 6.5 kg, then it means it's heavier

My barum's on stock steel weighed 25.5 lbs per wheel/tire. The ES100's on heliums came out to 19.5. I noticed a positive difference after the switch.
My stock seats, with brackets, came out to 48 lbs each.
