DIY tool for fuel tank lid

There has been more discussion as of late about fuel pump and regulator access so here are a few photos of the DIY tank lid tool I made. 1" steel pipe. We cut a 3" section off of the length of pipe I bought and then sliced it down the middle to make two half moon sections. I then welded them as you can see so that they will grip the teeth built into the lid. The length of the bar is 30" to give plenty of ability for torque to remove/reinstall. I have used it probably well over a dozen times with no issues. Hope this helps people. This is a much cheaper alternative to the Toyota tool that costs hundreds of dollars.
