12v plug thingy

i was wondering what wire to use from the plug the gray or the black and white one thanx



edit: also does anyone know how to take the plug out

i think you are asking what wire is the positive and what is the negative.. right?? the wire on the center pin is positive the other is the ground

ya i'm wondering what one is postive do you know what color the wire is otherwise i can figure it out

i think the positive wire is gray check the Electrical Wiring Diagram Manual page 220, hope that helps,

You could just use a multimeter. Or for a ghetto check, just put an LED in, as it will only light up when it's the right way around (although it will overheat and blow quickly without a resistor with it). Remember on an LED, flat side = negative and long wire = positive.
