Vibration on idle & rough start

Hi, guys. I wanted to ask on how to fix the vibration on idle and rough start problem in my '06 Belta (1KR-FE, 1.0L I3).

The thing is that, since a few months I've been facing vibration on idle on D/N/R while the car is stationary. Their isn't any vibration while driving the car. Sometimes the vibration completely vanishes and sometimes it vibrates hardly.

The second thing is that I've been facing rough start problems since about two weeks, whenever I start the in the morning it would stall on the first start. Then when I start it on the second try it would start normally and perfectly. I am having doubts on the fuel filter, and I am planning on getting it replaced pretty soon I just wanted to see what the experts here would recommend before I do something.

Note: I've recently changed the spark plugs, added a bottle of STP super concentrated Fuel Injector cleaner on the last tank top-up. The car is 31,000Kms driven haven't faced any problems other than these since I've imported it back in 2007 when the reading on the odometer was 18,000Kms.

Clean the MAF sensor with rapidly evaporating cleaner. There's a DIY somewhere. It improved idle for me.

Was going to say spark plugs - it improved the starting and idle for me.

Could be battery - replacing it also improved starting for me.

I've come to regard some vibrations at idle when stopped as normal. There's a certain harmonic that just resonates sometimes.

maybe you need new plugs. If they're only standard plugs their time is due.

The 1KR-FE doesn't have a MAF it has a MAP. I am thinking of changing the battery.

Got new plugs 500Kms ago, why would they need replacement?

Are they the correct type of plug?

OEM Denso SK20HR11 Iridium, they are the OEM ones that come with the 1KR-FE engine.

Because you said you have 31000km on your car and standard plugs only last about 35000km. You did not mention you changed you plugs.

So quite obviously you don't need to change the plugs if there's only 500 km on them.

So quite obviously you don't need to change the plugs if there's only 500 km on them.

I'm having the same issue, changed the plugs/coils/MAF/air filter in the last three weeks, the problem is 95% gone with only a rough idle when a fan or something kicks on. I'm going to DIY a ground kit for it this afternoon and see ifthat helps.

Of course my car has about 450,000 miles on it so....

Quoting myself here(hoping the universe doesn't implode because I did) that ground kit did the job. I was skeptical it would have that dramatic of an effect, I just figured my stereo would be cleaner(which it is!). I made my own for about 15 bucks, I'm going to make one for all of my cars now.

I pretty much used the same locations this guy did, except I added a couple more to the body.

Basically it helps clear electric noise that may interfere with some of the electronic equipment on the car, that's about the best I can do...I'm not an electrical engineer. It did make a difference though, a noticeable one. Mainly I don't get the shakes now when the AC and cooling fan kick on @ idle, which is exactly what I was hoping for.There's a lot more info at that link I posted above.

What if I get the fuel filter and the battery replaced? Would that help in anyway? @CTScott, I really need your input here.
