New 2012 Yaris ZR Owner

http://www.toyota.com.au/yaris/speci...r-hatch-manual
Coming up to a month of ownership of my little silver pearl ZR. Had a Mazda 323 Astina BG die on me, so we went looking for a nice small new car. Test drove a few Mazda's, Kia's, Suzuki's and Ford's, but ultimately settled for the sports manual Yaris. In Australia we get the YR as the base model, the YRS as the mid range, the YRX as the auto 5-door sedan, or the new comer ZR model. I still have to get window tint (the guys were on holidays when we picked it up), but I'm enjoying it so much. I'm 6'1", and this is the first car I've been in that I've had to move the seat forward to feel comfortable. Will post some pics soon (gotta give it a wash after the rain earlier). Thanks for having a great forum, I've been enjoying reading all your mods and build logs (giving me ideas...).
Cheers,
- Adam

Dig the subtle touch of the red stitching on the steering wheel and boot. Congrats on the new ride.

OP, what made you decide to chose the Yaris over it's contemporary rivals?

It's actually orange stitching, and soft leather. It's beautiful to hold.
I chose it mainly because of the quality of the ride/comfortability. All other cars in the price range felt cramped and hollow. There's a nice solid feel to all the doors and interior panels in the Yaris. Oh, and it's the only one to come with bucket seats standard!! :P

Cheers. Just finished replacing the rear license plate lamps and the two interior lamps with white T10 LEDs.
3 door is great, except for my long legs. It's okay when there's plenty of room to open the longer doors, but when you park next to other cars or in the garage, it's a little cramped. But it definitely looks much better than the 5 door models.

That big red 'P' tacked on to the tags is a real eyesore. What's it for?

Ahh, yeah. That's my red Provisional License plate. If I get pulled over and don't have them on, I get fined. :/
