Hey yarheados!

My cabin air blower gave out on me, aaargh! I need to replace it fast since summer is here. Does any of you know where I can get a new cabin air blower for an 07 lb yaris? I am in SoCal..

Try this

You should try this, it worked for me. I took it out, only 3 screws, and one connector. Once out, I sprayed the motor with WD-40 and a bunch of dirt and junk came out. Wiped it off real good and Yahoo, it worked and has kept on working. It could just be dirty.

DO NOT do this while the unit is plugged in as WD-40 is flammable.

YarisSadan, thank you very much! I am ordering this ASAP.. Lol. It never occurred to me to try amazon.

Alawagen, I tried that and it worked for 3 days. I took it off, sprayed it, brushed with round cleaning brush, and hooked it up to a 5 volt batt charger. It did the trick but it froze on me and couldn't get it to kick start again.
