My new OEM exhaust finisher chrome tip from Thailand!

Only works with the stock exhaust. Very well made and easy install.
$33 shipped from Ebay.

Wow, that looks top notch in comparison to the weird things I've seen locally :D \m/

Looks very good. For those looking for a nice tip locally, try one from Walmart. A Pilot Motorsports tip cost about $10 at Walmart. At 8 1/2" long, the round slanted tip is stainless steel and baffled, and it fits perfectly. Slip it over the teeny, tiny exhaust pipe and push it all the way back until firmly against the exhaust plate. Then center and tighten.

The factory piece is the exact correct length and polished stainless. I'm very pleased with it...

Seems like that OEM exhaust tip should be a bit longer - by at least an inch or two.

Any info about your custom tip? Does the ring with holes help project the sound better?

It does make it sound a bit louder but I really need a better exhaust system to make it sound really good. Here's a video from my instagram...

BTW, the Pilot tip from Walmart is no longer available. Too bad. It fit the Yaris tailpipe perfectly (with no mods) and looked great.

Just before the tip was discontinued, I bought another one from Walmart for $31+tx. It's still in the sealed wrapper.

I have the tip on craigslist for $20.

I'll give you a dub for it. Want to meet in person? I'll be in Orange (near Toyota of Orange) tomorrow getting a haircut at my sister's salon. Would be fine with meeting around there, or driving a little further south, to take it off your hands.

Had to search to find out that "dub" means $20. LOL.

OK, we can meet! Got a couple more things I can give you as well.

Not sure where I'll be tomorrow, except for the dentist at 8AM. Orange is like driving to another State for me. Maybe we could meet a bit closer to the beach.

When I first read it, I though he was offering you a joint in exchange for the tip

No prob; I'm fine with driving to your neck of the woods. My haircut is at noon, so might be better to meet before it. Any thoughts on timing? Also, how can I ping you when I'm headed that way? Want to PM a phone number, or?

Yeah, it was an initial disconnect between what eyes saw and brain read. Thought it was pretty funny until I reread, then I was like *shrug*. Local slang unknown to me. You gave me my required 'learn at least one thing new each day'.

Not too local, given Dub brand wheels having started (1990s?) around the 20" wheel craze. Funny that people are rocking 26" and even bigger these days, but I digress.

I bought my aftermarket exhaust tip off Amazon a few weeks before my car even arrived from Colorado in 2015. It was Superior, Part # 28-6201. Fits perfect & no complaints to this day. Just be sure to clean, polish & take care of it, just like you do with your paint, trim, etc. It still pisses me off that this isn't standard equipment on the SE trim.
